Born February 12, 1983 in Sài Gòn, Nguyễn Tiến Minh, top badminton player in Vietnam, achieved a bronze medal at the World Badminton Championship in 2013.
"I started playing badminton when I was 10, mainly as a mean to improve my health. It started off as a fun hobby with other kids around the block where I lived, but slowly I became engrossed with the sport's beautiful movements - its emphasis on flexibility, swiftness, and strategy. In high school, I finally decided to turn my passion into a career."
